How do you upgrade the stats of a maker item?

I'm making a black neos with lv3 Maker Skill. I heard that if I use topwear stimulator, it'll have a chance of adding extra STR. I know that intermediate/advanced power crystals add the amount of STR they give, but what about black crystals? - Advanced/intermediate/basic black crystals. What way is there to get an 8~10Str black neos with maker skill? Help pls? Thanks in advance.

Can you add attack to neos if you add diamond? Or attack can go on weapons/gloves/capes only?

At first person, diamonds only add ATT to weapons. @ TS, clean black neos is 6 STR. With an advanced power/dex crystal, it can be 11 STR 7 DEX clean. You can add a dark crystal as a 3rd gem slot, it basically works as a chaos - it can make you get a 6 STR 2 DEX black neos even with the crystals, or it can make it 16 STR 12 DEX clean. You can also use a simulator which gives it the ability to go above average, so you can get like, a 18 STR 14 DEX clean black neos if you're lucky as hell.

Also: Dark Crystal, + Random, (2, 3, 5) (Str, Dex, Int, Luk, Accuracy, or Avoid) So best thing to do is add the advanced power crystal, which is +5 then hope you hit the +5 str with the advanced dark crystal. EDIT: According to ^ that guy, dark crystals can also subtract stats. I thought they could just add them, only it was a random stat.
