Why girls instead of boys?

Why are gay/bi females typically/generally more accepted in our society. Well, that's what I think. Ex: Girls/guys are ok with gay/bi girls at school, some girls/maybe a few guys are ok with gay/bi guys. Why is this?

Guys are more inclined to interject opinions onto other people than girls. Most guys don't mind lesbians, but they don't like gays.
