| Healthcare reform was one of Ted Kennedy's longest projects while he was alive, it had to happen sometime, and always a country is based on how society treats each other, I can't imagine a great country not being able to provide healthcare to all of it's citzens, because people won't pay higher taxes to give everyone an important part of our modern lives =/ |

 | Panicka : It's pretty much failure at this point. They are just trying to pass something for the sake of passing it. Like I've always say. Do what you want. Just leave me my choice to stick with what I have(although I really am not trying to pay for something if I'm not using it). that's basically what you're gonna get still if the bill passes |

No, they are trying to resolve the issues raised by the "Blue Dogs" and uncooperative Republicans, who have failed to provide an adequate solution. The whole reform will let you keep what you had...just make sure it's efficient and you actually get the coverage you are paying for. Too often, Private Insurance just jacks up premium rates when you really need the insurance. The hope of the Public Option is to form a competition and to get these companies to start caring for their customers. It's a sort of monopoly ATM where the customer is the one who loses. |
