from a 2 year hiatus. Can someone explain to me how families, family 2x exp, the maker skill, hammers, and karma works? Also can you all tell me what Ariant and Henesys PQ are...

Families: This was introduced during the summer. Basically a higher level person recruits a lower level person into their "family". Keep in mind that they have to be 20 levels apart. After, the higher person is known as the "Senior", and the lower person the "Junior". The Junior earns "rep" for the senior. Rep that can be used for special skills/effect/I don't know. You'll be able to see these effects if you press the Family hotkey on your keyboard. There is a effect that lets you teleport to the same map as one of the members in your family, so it's good to be in a big family. Bigger is better? If you want to learn more, then talk to the new NPCs in Lith Harbour (located in the upper left corner) or ... somewhere in Orbis (lol) Maker Skill: Lets you create equips, adding bonuses such as ATT, INT, DEX, using items such as ores. Personally, I don't know much about this because I haven't completed the quest, but the quest to get the Maker Skill is located in the town, Magatia. The NPCs for the quests are located in one of the houses. This ties into your 2x family question. (2x family is one of the skills you get from the rep) Vicious Hammer: Another thing that was brought into the game a few matches ago. It's an NX item that can be used on an equip to give it an extra slot. Karma Scissors: An NX item that lets you cut, I guess you could say, "the bonds" of an untradeable equip to its owner. It's usually used on z-helms, and equips such as that. It enable one-time trading, so you can't just keep cutting all willy-nilly. :P I'm getting tired of explaining so these two will be brief. HPQ: lvl 10- 200 PQ. Excellent for lvl 10s-25s. APQ (Ariant, not Amoria :P): lvl 21-30. A competition between players. As the first poster said, don't be lazy and just Google it.

umm just so u know the Jr in the family cant be higher lvl and cant be lower than 20 lvls can be anywhere from 1 lvl lower to 20 lvls lower >>
