Well, after school I decided to change and put my clothes in the wash forgetting my iPod was inside >_>. After like 5hours I tried to look for it and then I realised that it was still in my pants. Now it won't turn on so I'm letting it dry out then try plugging it in. Hopefully it will start working again because its brand new. >_> Fail.

Lol I did this once. I just got the hair dryer out, dried it, charged, and I was away. Worked perfectly, but recently replaced it with an iPod touch. R.i.p. We had a good run though.

Hellb0urne : I left a dollar coin in my pocket when it went through the wash. At the speeds that the washing machine spins, the dollar was launched and smashed a hole through the tub of the washing machine. A dollar coin costed my parent 1 and a half grand. Ahahaha xD Unn sorry for your loss :3

Well I dropped my yellow Chromatic into a 5 metre deep pool not too long ago. Sadly, I can't swim. So my ipod lay in a 5 metre pool for about an hour, until someone went and retrieved it. All I did was not touch it for a week or so, plugged it into the charger, and worked fin

That's why you always spend an extra 40 or so on a warranty.

Ask your insurance. My cell phone got insured after leaving it in the wash.

My friend bought a 16GB iPod touch+ 2 year warranty. He dropped it. He dented the ipod. Now the iPod doesn't work along with the warranty. FAIL.

First take out the battery and any power source. Leave it facing down in a dry place for AT LEAST 2 days. Dont touch it, put the battery in etc. If you want to be Mr. Safe, let it dry for 3 days or more. Turn it on, it should be fine. This happened to my laptop but i spilled water on it
