Big guilds are overrated

What makes a guild, a good one? Or a pro one to you? In my opinion big guilds with 100 people, even if they are all high level, it is impractical and the worst. And I will give my views. First of all in a guild with 100 people...there is obviously extremely low standards, guilds like that look to recruit anyone, just so they can get high numbers and people think that their guild is "pro". Secondly big guilds are further apart and less close together. Smaller guilds you get to know people better. And..big guilds you don't get to do much, there is always competition to do things, for example if you are pqing or zaking, in a big guild you probably won't get to go, and will have to wait in line behind other people etc. That's why I think the best guilds are guilds with 30-55 people, who are dependable. What do you think makes a good guild?

What makes a good guild is a knowledge of this game, and talkative members. Mature, and helpful guild mates are the best.

Not really, when guilds have a lot of members that build up slowly the actually end up knowing each another quite well.

A good guild = No asshat cloud strife l337 azn wanna bes, no hene hoes, no stress over being part of a gpq or boss run, easy going, random and fun, people who you relate to.

You're right.Guilds like that are just boring cause you don't even get invited to a boss run your own guild is holding just cause there's higher lvls than you

Which is why I, as a guild leader, first ask and talk with people as friends, before recruiting. And we have 60 people. Lv100+ is so we can all be within the same level and standard range, so we understand each other. Most esteemed guilds are actually that way. They do interviews too before recruiting.

Deezleaves is a guild with 100 members. It is in no way low standards as most people are 140+. The guild members are close and very helpful. Talkative and humorous. We all know each other by first name basis. Everyone has an equal chance to participate in cwkpq, gpq, and zak. Our guild alliance allows us to call in members from our alliance if we are short some people for zaking or cwkpqing and vise-versa. Please explain why big guilds are bad again...

I highly doubt you know the names of all 100 people, there are probably 20-35 actually active people in your guild who are on and who you talk to. 100 is overkill and totally not necessary.

you don't really have to wait in line to get to zak if theres 100 people, theres 3 channels to zak why not organize 3 runs if your guild is big enough ? or at different times?
