Should I take my revenge?

Here's the story. A long time ago, back when broa was released, I had a friend. We trained together, and eventually, we were both 7x (this was really "pro" back then.) Since we were such good friends, I decided to let him go on my account. He then stole everything. He took my 10 attack work gloves, my 99 attack sparta (again, this item was really good back then), and most everything else of any value. Somehow, and I don't know why, I still remained in touch with him. Today, he gave me the info to his youtube account. I tried it, and it was the info to his maplestory account. Next, I tried a couple pins. Before I knew it, I had found the correct pin, which was 9999. Now, I'm on his shadower. I am deciding whether I should hold a grudge against him or not. He is the reason I quit my fighter in broa, and moved to scania. I have nothing to gain by destroying his account. Do you think I should drop his stuff or not? I can't make a poll so just post here. EDIT: Please stop mailing me. I will not give you his items. My decision. I am going to transfer his stuff to a noob account. After a couple days, I will return everything to him. I don't want to be like him, but I feel like I have to show him how it feels to be betrayed. Yes, I probably will lose a friend, but I don't mind losing a friend I cannot trust.
