Its a piece of crap device designed by the programmers t ocatch botters!... It happened to me a few days back. I was in ant tunnels training and one of the zombie mushrooms dropped a white chaos robe. I was happy and picked it up. And then this level 30+ mage uses the detector on me. At first sight, i was going what the **** was that... Then i realised that it was the lie detector!!!... I try to click on it but none of my incessant clicking worked and there was a timer counting down... In the end, it counted down to zero and had a message saying that i was botting and repeated failing of the tests will result in a ban!... o.D I was yelling what!!... and just logged off, switching characters. Now what is going on with the nonsense detector??... Anyone has any tales to share?...

Hmm...it's just a program people who can't get their way use to make others who get in their way feel icky. I, myself, perfer to find the anti-hack scripts. I've found a few for other games, but none for Maple. It's real fun to watch people go "what?! Why isn't my hack working?!" when I use it...fun to watch the equivelant of a GM ban that person then come after me. :3

That's messed up. I saw a screenshot of one being used, it just displays a code that you have to type in within the time limit. And you get mesos if you type it in correctly.

I did not get banned.. Only a warning ... I saw two codes but did not know what to click or press... Lucky it was not a serious problem.. If not i would have complained to the GM... >_<"

You were actually supposed to TYPE the number into the box.. The lie detector has been removed because people dont know how to use it.. It can only be used when your ATK skill is being used.. Also, you wont get banned.. Only all your messos will be removed.. If pass, you get 5k, if you fail, the reporter gets 7k.. Considering the lie detector costs 10k...
