The Word "Godly"

I finally decided to make a thread about this because it's starting to irritate me. I see it everywhere now. S>Godly Blah Blah Blah, I have a Godly Blah Blah Blah, and the usual I'm sooo Godly. When you say something is Godly, you're comparing whatever the item is to God. I'm not a religious person myself, but I mean seriously. If there was an almighty power that exists in this world, that created everything, how could your pixels even compare to that? First of all, you're insulting religion. Second of all, there are more fit titles/ adjectives that you are able to use. IE: Good, Great, Amazing. I mean those words fit. They work. They show that your item is good, and they don't insult someones' religion. How are you insulting religion? Well if you call someone elses' character Godly, you're basically saything that their pixielated character would be worthy to replace God. Also, please, never boast/brag about anything. If you know your items or whatever is good, then good for you. If someone decides to give you a complement, then that's their choice. By bragging you're asking for complements, which makes you sound like a jerk. Thanks for reading.

Hmmm... Interesting POV Regarding the other adjectives, I'm guessing people just think that those words simply do not express the SHEER EPICNESS of what they have. I'm a religious individual, and I certainly don't use the word Godly to desctibe my stuff. ( Could because I don't have stuff that's that GREAT, but ...eh.)

Godly is just a phrase to describe an item. Don't take it literally. It just means that the item is pretty/very good.
