I don't think it should be blocked. If you simply give a person a link to something, he/she won't search by himself/herself. Some people in MS Tech don't even bother to read the guide that says "How to get better responses from the Tech Forum", and they don't read the note that pops up when you click the MS Tech radio button, WHICH INSTRUCTS THEM TO SEARCH AROUND BEFORE MAKING A THREAD. Here's a prefect example: http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/1203742/0//How_do_you_ss.html# This question has been answered hundreds of times. The TS couldn't even search. If you don't believe me, here. link The aforementioned site shouldn't be blocked. The old saying applies: "Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime". If people go around spoonfeeding, nobody is actually going to search. Blocking this site isn't doing any good. It's counterproductive. Some people need to learn to search, even if the site that teaches them is a little satirical in nature. This site should be unblocked, at least in the troubleshooting forums (ms tech, tech talk...)

Because people use it as an obnoxious answer to simple questions.

Because 99% of the time it's spam. "Where should I train my Archer?" "Oh let me google that for you lololol"

Kevvl : Because 99% of the time it's spam. "Where should I train my Archer?" "Oh let me google that for you lololol" They're going to answer regardless though. And if they have a link, on different places to train. Then they won't make another thread for where to train after they're done training where they just found.

The problem arose when people spammed the site/link as a meme. If the population of basil can handle it, sure, why not bring it back?

I've never seen it really being used for spam, but then again i'm in chat so

spheal789 : 99% of statistics are made up on the spot, like this one. Actually, 250% of statistics are made up on the spot. But you catch my drift. It's almost always spam.

Kevvl : Because 99% of the time it's spam. "Where should I train my Archer?" "Oh let me google that for you lololol" I've clicked a lot of Google for you links, and usually they've never been spam. Even then, that still leads to the fact that using a search engine is the first thing anyone should do before making a thread. It's the most valuable tool on the Internet, and should be utilized as so.

^Not in the Maplestory sections, where you're asked to google your thread title. spheal789 : I know, I just wanted to see if I would get banned. o-o Oh right. Responding to a moderator falls under rule 11. How dare you, you should know better.
