Dragon's Tail or Reverse Dagger

Hello fellow maplers, I'm currently having a dilemma between two alternatives, a dragon's tail or reverse dagger. If i were to go dragon's tail that would mean making a new character and capping my dex low (~57) or to continue my current character with base dex at 97 and equipping a reverse dagger. The problem however arises in relation towards acquiring a high attk dagger. A godly Dragon's Tail (115~120) attk is more obtainable than a 128attk+ Reverse dagger. I'm completely hopeless with scrolling so that is out of the option .I'm open to all suggestions or advice. I request for constructive responses only. Please do not post derogatory or negative criticism. -Kind regards

I would go with the Godly Dt, because if you save yourself some money buy losing 8 attk , user the money you saved to buy some nice wgs ;]

Depends if you're really that funded. If you really got your eyes set on the reverse wep just wait a bit and smega frequently for godly reverse daggers.

Well just so you know,there are literally almost no DTs with over 110+ atk for sale in Maplestory,and if there was one,it would probably cost billions to buy(I personally never saw a dt with more than 107 atk in my entire life). I would go with a reversed dagger,the atk can be amazing if you level it up,and you should never use dark scrolls on it anyway,60% all the way is you best bet,so really it's not that hard to scroll a good reversed dagger. You should also go with a reversed since you already have high base DEX anyway,you have more potential to wear better and stronger weapons,then why not use it?

I kindly appreciated all the comments posted. As for mightyme, in bellocan a fellow guild member had scrolled a 112 attk DT hammered once. In an attempt to further improve the Dragon's tail he used a 30% and it killed it. I currently see a 113 attk non hammered DT in MTS and will be using white scrolls +60% dagger scrolls to hit 117 attk, IF i were to obtain it. However, on one standpoint i agree with you is that the reverse dagger has so much potential! What to do, what to do~

It porbably costs like...400k nx right? xD Well if you somehow DO manage to get you hands on such an amazing dt,then you should porbably stick with untill the end. If I were you though,I would definatly go with reversed,it would be way cheaper and easier to get. Whatever choice you make,good luck!

The endgame dagger for a Shadower should be a reverse dagger(STR). At higher levels the extra ATK from a 128+ reverse dagger will eventually outdo even a 115+ ATK DT. As a DT user myself, even I'm unhappy over owning a 12x ATK DT instead of a Pescas since I see more potential in a reverse dagger. In conclusion, you should go for a reverse Killick, or better yet go STR Shadower and wield a Dragon Khanjar + Pescas which can easily attain 125+ ATK.

If you've got the funds to buy a 113 ATK non hammered DT AND white scroll it, you've got the funds to white scroll a reverse dagger. The latter would obviously be the better choice.

I myself am cvurrently using a crappy kanzir til I can hunt enough time pieces to make a pescas. I plan on using an intermediate luk crystal and maybe some type of black/ dark crystal and of course an advanced diamond . Go for the pescas. Str daggers ftw

I would also say reverse dagger has more potential, but here's a question: what are you planning to scroll it with? If you use only 60%/65% mixed with a few dagger WS, then you might get a decent 125 ~ 129 to use, but as time goes by, you might be able to find a better Kreda/Kanzir on market, or time pieces become cheaper so you can afford to 30% the first 3 ~ 5 slots. If you happen to obtain a better dagger by then, your old dagger would be a big meso sink because it has like, 0 resell value. With DT or other daggers, you can at least sell it and get some money back after you're done with it. If you are planning to play for a long time and have higher goal, this is something you should consider.
