Do Poison Wizards train faster than Fire Wizards? When I poison breath an enemy successfully will it kill it or leave its hp at 1?

im fairly sure it leaves it at 1hp. but im an i/l so yeah...

Yes it leaves the monster's HP at 1 Not sure if its faster than the normal build, but shouldn't PQs be fastest anyway?

In the early levels, like 30-45, Fizards train faster, assuming you don't PQ. In the later levels, Pizards train faster because you can poison DTs while the Fizard is stuck at Jr. Yetis. And the HP is kept at 1 if it can't decrease any further.

Just hit the monster with another cast of poison breath again (or magic claw or fire arrow) to kill it because poison breath does base damage first then it poisons
