Hunter or Crossbow man?

Hi, my 13 yr. old younger brother just joined ms. He told me hes going to be a bowman, but the thing is hes having trouble picking 2nd job, he told me he loves hunter for a reason i forgot, and he told me he loves crossbow man for a reason i forgot again. I had no idea how to help him out, so i asked my older brother what to do and he couldn't even figure it out. So that left us no choice but to put up a thread for help.

Ask your younger brother what appeals to him the most. Would he rather use a bow or a crossbow in real life? strider43 : Crossbowmen suck. I regret choosing it since bms are faster and do more damage and kill bosses with pin and stuff. Lets keep my scrolls cheap people. Or you could just suck it up and pay for the slight increase, if any.

Freeinternet : Whats bad about crossbows? I dont think anything is wrong with Crossbowmen, actully I think their fourth job is pretty cool, but I like Hurrican better cause it looks more fun for me personaly, and the main reason I chose bows over xbows is because I dont like the way xbows look and I love the way Bows look F3(especially the new reverse bow -drools-). I want the site because I chose long ago that I wanted to be a bowman, and I want the site to make me fated for it lol >.>

There are pros and cons for both MM's and BM's and MM's also have SE. Peenoy : Go for bowmaster cause their sexier not cause they have the most wanted party skill, and the fact they can pin down bosses or that they have higher damage per minute than crossman or having a red bird is better than a gay, i mean grey one. The birds actually blue... Your 3rd job birds grey... Snipers have a golden one.

It's a really tough choice. Let him use a bow for 50% of lv 29, and an xbow for the rest, see if he likes the faster hunter's bow, or the strong mountain crossbow. Other than hurricane, snipe, pierce, concentrate, bird and rain/erupt colors, they're pretty much the same. Or he can make a crossbowman, and use the linked cygnus to make a wind archer, to quell his need for speed.

Marksman also have the most wanted party skill, not just bowmasters. Bowmasters and marksmen has pretty much the same dmp. Rangers get the grey bird, and it's called silver hawk. Snipers get golden eagle.
