ok.. so i just reached lv 120 on my wind archer and i'm fighting the black witch boss. well the problem is... i keep dying from him. currently i have very good equips with high def but the thing is.... my deputy star. my hp = 3352 so i'm wondering which of these will help me to survive better against magic attacks. 3252 hp + dep star (100 hp + 50 magic def) or 3252 hp + ht necklace (105 magic def) so at the end. which of these are better for surviving? 100 hp or 55 magic def?

If you have 3400hp, you'll be fine regardless of def. I suggest HP equips :P

Hp is usually better than weapon def and magic def if you're trying just to survive attacks.

HP>def always if you're trying to survive. Why do you think they give out low lvled hp gear alot of times for zak runs? o.O Def means nothing in ms. The amount of def to make a big difference in a monster's attack is a big amount of def. Since you're capped the statement the higher lvled you are to a monster the less you take doesn't apply to you anymore. Your only bet left is to get a good amount of hp gear and not slack off or use puppet and actually not slack off. Who honestly would slack off in a boss battle? o.O There ain't any other options for you. Losing a lot of def doesn't make a big difference btw.

Puppet + Wind Walk. It's really not that hard, you just gotta keep on it and pay attention. You don't need to change any of your equips.
