What does lvl mean like 2x 4x 8x

what does those things mean

For everyone saying he forgot math classes, you forgot your math, when a number and a variable are together that means they're multiplied together. But yeah 2x=Levels 20-29, Level 3x=30-39, Level 4x=40-49, Level 5x=50-59 and so on.

YueRiku : Pay attention in math. Do you know what a variable is? I don't think math has anything to do with 4x or 2x on maplestory levels... Since 4x (an example) would be like 4 multiplied by the variable x and @ threadstarter, 4x (An example) means that you're in the level 40 range. Your level could be 43 or 47 xD So 2x would be in the level 20 ranges, like 22 or 26

X = roman numeral for 10 4x = In the level 40 range (40-49). Level 50 falls into the 5x category. OR, you could just think of it as x is a digit that follows the 2. If x is 3, then your level is 23. X is just used to categorize all of those digits into the (2x) section.

I hate when people don't know what it means but still use it. Ex: People who say 20x... you cant go higher than 200 kids!
