Hello everyone. Redux here today to tell you about the BasilMarket thinktank. What is the BasilMarket thinktank? The BasilMarket thinktank is just that; we are a group of users who strive to make BasilMarket a utopia. Lately, we have felt that leaving the responsibility of operating and maintaining BasilMarket in its entirety to so few is not a feasible method of refining BasilMarket. A segregated community is not a progressive community, thus we have established an IRC channel for all Basilers who would like to see BasilMarket at its finest. The IRC channel. The IRC channel will be accessible to all, and we will discuss an array of BasilMarket-related topics. Of these topics, we will first be discussing alternative forum moderation; a concept first brought to my attention by Macaroni, my collaborate in this operation. Not minutes later, the administrator also proposed that alternative moderation may be a necessary investment. The IRC has few rules. Simply do not disturb the discussion, or you will have your voice revoked. To join, navigate to this page. Enter your BasilID, and beneath it, the channel, "#basilthinktank." Conclusion. With emphasis on security, the BasilMarket thinktank has opted for 'mini,' or 'junior' moderators, appointed by the BasilMarket administration. These 'mini-' moderators would have but one ability: moving deconstructive threads and posts to an abyss where only moderators can view them, and arbitrate a suspension length. 'Mini-' moderators, should they be implemented by the administrator, will not be known and may be punished for flaunting their privileges, as they would for any abuse of power.
