Okay I have a question basil. My friend and I were talking about Bowmasters and Night Lords today, and we ran into something that stumped us. Which is faster, Hurricane or Triple Throw and Shadow Partner? I read somewhere that Hurricane fires at a speed of 8.33 arrows per second, but how does TT + SP compare to this? My friend kept telling me that Hurricane is slower but more powerful and TT + SP is faster but weaker, but I thought it was the other way around. Thanks, and any help is appreciated.

In terms of like raw number of arrows vs. number of stars, I'm pretty sure TT is faster.

TT+SP is faster. But hurricane + SE is stronger ( in a scenario where a NL doesn't have SE )

XDarkchaozX : ya that's it Actually not including dmg per minute I'm pretty sure sp + tt is faster

TT+SP > hurricane in terms of hits per minute Hurricane>TT+SP in terms of dmg, assuming the NL does not have SE

Triple throw+ sp> all DPM practically o_o, exept for Cannon, which beats every class at anego/crow(if himes arent in the way)

Doesn't Hurricane also have a slow start up time? I played a Bowmaster one time and it seemed like it took awhile to get going.

While his post did have incorrect information, I believe he was talking about not taking damage. Meaning a Corsair could stay on their ship forever. Since most people will respond with "omgeh sair only hav good dps on ship". But, after reading what he put in parentheses... you're probably right. |

TT can be fired from the air. it's 3 stars at 150% dmg +3 stars at 75% dmg with SP for a total of up to a maximum of 1150% damage in one 'cast'. Hurricane has no 'cast', you use it as you go so the damage is more unstable. If you want to go by arrows then lets say one second equals 8 arrows, 100% damage per arrow+crit+SE roughly equals 1200% damage You may think hurricane has a higher percentage so therefore wins but this is one second of "casting" time, in that same second a NL could squeeze out 3 casts, so the answer is still in the air. I could be off by miles.

Well thanks for all the replies everyone. I always thought that Hurricane was faster and weaker, but I guess I've been wrong the whole time . One more question though. If each class was given an Onyx Apple, would the Night Lord pass the Bowmaster in terms of damage per second, in addition to already being able to produce stars at a faster speed? Thanks again.
