I didn't get a chance to read what you guys posted yet, but I just wanted to say this is only 1 double-sided page of my back to school summer assignments, lol. These are all the questions I don't feel I am 100% sure of my answers, but thanks for any contributions whether they were right or wrong, guys.

#2 tetrahedral (like a pyramid with a 3-sided base) shape methane #3 and #4 -log(concentration) = pH since #4 is OH, you will have to figure out the H from that. 1e-14/1e-10 (total/the concentration of OH) = 1e-4 (the concentration of H) -log(1e-4) = 4 or just look at the exponent..

8. Hydrogen ions are considered to be protons in solutions. 10. Are you sure it says CH3ON? 11. C [ sugar does not dissociate in water ] 12. False ... Must obey the law of conservation of matter, mass of reactants must equal mass of products The rest of the answers seem right.
