I've been seeing alot of bowman screenshots where their str(not dex :S) is capped at around 80, is 60 to low or is it average?

i capped mine at 72, i'm still trying to get a quest specialist to be able to wear my nisrock. Seriously, 72 is just enough. 16 str from zhelm 7 str shoes(advanced str crystal+red level 100 ones) 2 from yellow belt 6 str from red arunza 2 str from quest specialist and that's excactly enough for me o_O These items aren't hard to make

xXlLeetlXx : I believe you mean there STR is capped at around 80 That's what he just said. 60 str is low str, and if you can afford str equips that gives you enough str to wear your final weapon (e.g. if your final weapon is a metus, get 35 str from equips to get 95 str), then cap it at 60. If you can't, increase your str until you can.

There is no such thing as "too low". I have 63 STR. STR capping comes entirely down to what you have the equips for. You want your total STR to be just enough to equip whatever weapon you want to use. If you can have 50 STR and equip your weapon, then cap at 50. If you need 80 STR to equip your weapon (this is including STR from equips, mind you) htne cap at 80. Don't feel obligated to stop at a rounded number that's divisible by 10 either. Stop wherever necessary.

It depends on how funded are you or what you have. I capped at 70 and plan to use a reverse xbow. I have zhelm, (which is kind of standard for the "high leveled"), a MoN (doesn't cost too much for such a great boost), my overall (or soon to be reverse overall) will add about 10-13 str (just takes time to get), black belt (only takes time), and quest medal, (once again no money, just time). That 41 strength only costed me about 80 mil. If you say, "Well I don't have 80 mil," think again. That almost all of my equips for 80 mil, (not counting earrings gloves shoes bow and what not) and they're all pretty good, not godly but they work.

It really depends on what equips you use. I capped mine at 105, most people don't, but I'm still just as godley.

I have a base of 78, it all depends on what bow you want to use as your end-game weapon. In my personal situation, I wear a nisrock (requires 105 str) and I have a total of 107. I intend on dropping it down to 65 when I get maxed MW and a black belt.

For Bowmen, regular STR is keeping your base STR = to your current level. It's a waste, no-one does that.

FreeinternetFrederick3 : For Bowmen, regular STR is keeping your base STR = to your current level. It's a waste, no-one does that. I don't know about that, most have some sort of strength equipment compensating for the strength they need to equip their weapon. This normally doesn't start happening until about level 70 or 80. Anyway I capped my strength at 75 and I am planning to eventually use a Reverse Black Beauty.

Mines capped 78, I can equip a Reverse Black Beauty if I wanted to with my Str Equips, but I use a Neschere.

ChibiCross 09/07/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
@ender he said its exactly enough for him. i myself have 80 str, might boost it up seeing as i dont have a dep star/zhelm, or pretty much good equips. like Desiderata said, theres no such thing as too low. if you need your helmet's str to wear your weapon, thats considered low str. the average bowman cap their str at around 60-80, some higher, some lower. i guess 50 would be more of a lower str, but not too low depending on equips. 80 str is not normal, depending on level, but i guess it can be considered more or less average.
Kevvl 09/07/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
60 Str is considered Low Str unless you're using a Golden Crow. But it's about average, 60~80 is pretty much what you should aim for.

Myself : well, 60-80 base STR is like the new "standard" nowadays. i wouldn't recommend going over 85 tho. try to get your STR to 65-70 as of now, or just accordingly to your bow i know i'm a xbow user, and i need 5 less STR than bow users do, but my base is 60, and i have 118 STR with all my stuff, no maple warrior/other buffs (if any, lol) Source @fruitloops: quest speciallist IS hard for me, lol
