So I've been told 1 INT = 1 M.ATK + more. And the Doomsday is only 1X less M.ATK than a Reverse Ades but the Reverse Ades takes like 4X more LUK to use. Does that mean it's more worth it to use a Doomsday than a Reverse weapon if you are low-LUK?

Doomsday is 118 m.atk when clean, and requires 80 LUK. That's 118-80 which is 38. Reverse Ades is 135 m.atk when clean, and requires 123 LUK. That's 135-123 which is 12. Since the reverse ades levels up 3 times, let's say each level up adds 1 m.atk and 2 int each, so that's 12+6+3, which is 21 m.atk for the ades. So yes, doomsday > reverse ades.

Ahhh...I forgot about the leveling up. But even though it does level up, 38> 33 so Doomsday is better. Tyvm!

err no sir since you have the luk to wear the staff you have the luk to wear armour which is more matk then doomsday and the armour you can only get

Don't forget about other things you can do with that LUK! There's the armor (overall, hat, shoes, gloves, and shield) that require lots of LUK. Once you level those up, I think the MATK provided by a Reverse/Timeless set would beat a Doomsday staff?

First off all 1 int = 1 m.att + 0 Which weapon is better depends on your ability build. If your luk is low, DDS is better. If you are high luk, why not make use of the higher m.att weapons.

No he meant 1 int = 1 magic accuracy, magic def, etc. Which is why alot of people choose int YACs over PuACs EDIT; wait he mxied it up. it's 1 m.att= 1 int + more.

Unless you have the funding for it, a clean timeless set would still never beat a 150 m.attk dds.

Shoes: 5 int 1 MA. Gloves: 5 int. That's a total of 19 magic clean DDS users can use.. Enigmatic: 6 int. Enigma shoes: 4 int. Dark Clarities: 4 int. That's 14 magic clean. DDS is a total of 38 clean, while the Aeas hand is a total of 21 clean, according to Guy's (SourDonut's) post. 38+14=52. 21+19=40. You would have to gain 12 magic by leveling all 3 items. So yeah, the potential is there, but...even the 21 magic of the hand is unwieldy; there's no guarantee of a 2/1 increase. Plus it's expensive to use time pieces for all of those items, plus the hand. 45+15+15+15=90 pieces. At 10 mil each (Broan average price), that's 900 mil. The DDS equips are a pittance, and the DDS itself can easily be half that. Potentially, yes. Realistically...not so much.

So yes, doomsday > reverse ades. reverse is 135 magic att clean, if let's just say add a adv sapphire and adv wisdom that would be 143 magic att counting that 5 int = 5 magic att+more reverse lvl 3 times, avg magic from each is 1-4. the avg should be around 2+ per lvl, 2 magic x 3 = 6 magic att, of course int is also added 1-2 per lvl which let's just say 1 int per lvl that means 3 extra int, 6+3 = 9, 143+9 = 152 magic, of course ades is 123 luk req not 118, 123-80 = 43, the reverse avg would be only 25 magic ahead, in the end reverse<dds, however there are more calculations such as reverse overall and etc, which I'm not going to calculate.

But you could get a really nice overall with 80 LUK and Maker.
