Okay, school just started and there's already problems. There's a new kid at our school and he told everybody he's gay (even the teachers), so he's in the same gym class as me and because he's gay he likes to spend a lot of time looking at my classmates change and one day this idiot told his parents about it who are extremely homophobic and you can guess what happened after. Parents complained to the school, and now the kid is forced to change after all the guys are done or leave our gym class ( or he gets expelled). I'm going to admit that even I'm not a fan of homosexuality, but I really think my school went too far on this. So Basil, you genius people was my school wrong to do this or was my school right about it? And also a bunch of kids started this petition to let the guy change with the guys..:S

Wrong, he can sue the school for treating him differently. Everyone has the same equal rights in school, no student gets treated differently. Gay Pride Ftw! ps. im not gay ;D

They were wrong to do that , there's nothing wrong with being gay. I'm suprised your school even did that..

I'd at least allow him to change first. Then it's either he changes first or people don't give a crap and go in to change at the same time. Instead of restricting what he can do they should allow pris- students to make their own choices.

sonikuboy : Sounds like a Priviledge to me. Noone will be there to make fun of you/your body/your sexuality. The problem is the whole school is talking about it, and the kid is extremely embarrassed since he's like the only gay guy in my grade.

hmm, I don't know, I thought about it and came to the conclusion that I know I'd feel damn weird if a person was staring at me while I was changing. I'm sure they could have talked to him about it first before going jim crow laws on his arse, but there's no guarantee he'll stop.

Ehh. Problem here is where you said he likes to watch the other guys change. There's nothing wrong with him being gay, but if he's making the other kids feel uncomfortable by checking them out as they change, there's where problems might arise. Your school took a bit of a drastic measure tho.

Nope, if your different keep it to yourself. In my country if your gay, you will probably get kicked out of the country.
