Actually people will die on 2012, but not from the event itself. They will believe in it so much that they'll go crazy and probably die.

There are tons of YouTube videos about 2012 and all of them say that so and so is going to happen. Most of them say different things. .____. Actually, a group of psychic twins who accurately predicted the 2001 World Trade Center attacks said that nothing is going to happen on 2012, just that the weather and things like that will be abnormal for that time of year. Nothing to be panicking about, no huge tsunamis or hurricanes or whatever. Something rare (by rare I mean like one in every tens of thousands of years) is going to happen in the solar system.
