| Recently there have been way too many threads in the chat sectin endorsing beliefs or atheism or whatever ( As if someone is going to actually convert based on what they read HERE). I, who am starting to get annoyed at all these threads on religion. So i decided to go to Wikipedia (which answered my questions much better than the stupid threads here) and came up with one conclusion All religions are exactly the same. Right about now, you are probably thinking "What is he talking about? All religions are completely different!" Sure, there are minor differences, but if you actually look into the message of these religions, it comes down to one thing: That you should be kind to others, don't be a liar or a thief, use good judgement, and basically don't be a complete jerk. This seems like a pretty reasonable message. However, different people have simply backed the same ideals with different names and cant stop arguing ever since. Some people even decided that they didnt want to follow these rules anymore, and called themselves atheists. So now people are trolling around the chat section saying "If your god exists, how come he dosent give a sign?" Thats not the point! Whether you need a god to throw you in a fire pit or you can handle it by yourself, following some basic moral rules is all there is to it. So i propose we all shut up about this whole athiest vs. God or religion x vs. religion y thing. |
