Problem with window mode

Ok when in maplestory when i select the window mode option and click ok i doesnt do anything and then i here a beep noise in the back ground ? Been trying to figure this out for while.

marioh213 : Oh in that case go to control panel and click on adjust screen resolution(under windows appearance and personalzation) and change the resolution to 1280 by 960. Do this. I did it and it worked after posting a thread similar to this earlier. If you don`t wanna keep going to the control panel and changing the resolution back and forth then I recommend this program [url=]http://download.cnet.com/Resolution-Changer-SX2/3000-2094_4-10468528.html?tag=mncol[/url] This can change your resolution without UAC interference and quickly change it back when your done. BTW off topic but how do you add names to your links?

What happens when the computer beeps? Does the computer restart? Does anything happen? A beep is suppose to indicate something, like a hardware failure or incorrect input.

this happened to me too, but i changed my display settings to 60 hertz + 16 bit and everything started working again.

Ahhhh ok well i changed my hertz to 60 then i went to maplestory and set it to windowed then switched back to my original. and it worked. I guess it has something to do with the resolution or Hz.
