Are mounts worth it?

I'm a lvl 52 NW, and i was wondering if mounts are useful, seeing as how i have max haste. My fj is lvl 1. So is it worth the 10m? i don't have much money left.

My opinion is that the thief class don't need mounts. I mean you guys get haste what do you need a mount for?

no, only if you have money to spare, and as a CK, the mount sucks unless you macro it to say "Chocobo! I choose you!"

For slinger recoil shot acts like a flashjump+aid of wings which makes you go faster then lv 120 mount so much better ive beaten some flash jumpers. But teleport spam well always be the fastist but not the best considering it kills your mp so fast.
