HI everyone i whant to become a spearman. i just wanted to know since ima be hybride what kind of poll arms should i buy and when should i start buying spears and do spearmn make alot o money compare to a crusader?

I went pure spear.. I didn't like the fact that you only used PAs for a few levels and then later on in the 9x's you never really used them again.. but i went hybrid in 2nd job just because I didnt really like FA at all try going low dex, it's totally worth it, but you just have to buy o-kay accuracy equips You can go hyrbid and use a PA in the lower levels though, but I'm pretty sure you'll be using spears later on anyway and just get the strongest weapon you can lol

Hybrid spearman use polearms throughout 2nd and 3rd job, and even at the start of 4th job. At around level 130 (once you have enough zerk to skele) you'll move to skeles and switch to spears. So basically you'll be using polearms until level 130, and at level 130 you will switch to spears. As for mesos, they both pretty much make equal mesos.

2nd job might be a bit harder without final attack, so i'd suggest doing pq's to lvl as much as possible =P

Polearms = 1.5 x damage to swing Spears = 1.5x damage to stab Since more swings occur than stabs during attacks, it stands to reason that Polearms have an obvious advantage. And during first and second job at least, this is true. A Polearm user will deal much more damage over time than a Spear user while both are still Spearmen.
