How hard is backwards compatibility?

I mean sheesh the wii has backwards compatibility for Every Gamecube game and controller and memory card and some Ps3's offer that but not all and the xbox compatibility list hasn't been updated since 2007 was Nintendo the only one able to emulate cheaply and easily? Do not give me bull lies like "Oh Gamecube had lowest specs" Well guess what the PS2 had lower specs than the gamecube technically (the only crutch for the gamecube was the disc it used) (We can see the gamecubes semi-good graphics for the generation those 3 consoles were in when Twilight princess was released)(do your research) therefore on a system like the PS3 it should be easy as heck do emulate it (not easy in a sense everyone can do it but for a trained company)

Nintendo rules, that is why. Probably it is an excuse to get more money but oh well.

They're doing great on the consoles, but I hate how Nintendo keeps taking away the oldies we still love on their handhelds. First, the Lite couldn't support Gameboy color games, now the DSi can't even use GBA. I don't want to upgrade to DSi because I shouldn't need two DS's to play the same brand's games.

Least nintendo could of done was make the games you already own (somehow have a way to identify them not sure) downloadable or least make all GBA games and GBC games downloadable for a small fee off of the store.
