Ghosts. Your opinions?

So I am sure we've all seen those old Scooby-Doo cartoons where the spooky ghosts chase Shaggy and Scooby around while playing 80's montage music. But always in the end it turns out to be a creepy old caretaker who just wants the treasure on the island. And later screams a catch phrase after being caught. But what I ask you today. Do you believe in ghosts? Not the kind I mentioned earlier in this post. But the kind that are trapped in our world. Desperately searching for a way out. Have you had any personal experiences?

Ghosts are merely a figment of our fears conjured up by our imagination. It does not exist in the physical world indepedent of perception, but rather; exists only in the onoligical mind.

i have yet to encounter a ghost but i do believe they are real.

Meh, maybe. But there's too much to think about considering heaven, hell and whatnot. I tend to be open minded, so I like to think it's possible.
