What happens if you get gas & your card is denied?

Pay before you pump, simple.

And, if you're using a card to pay at the pump, it would require you to use the card before it would let you pump. If you're using it inside, it would be declined before you pumped.

yeah, everywhere I have ever been or seen, you pay first, get gas second. I think a few full service stops give you gas, then you pay. But if you took off, your license plate would be recorded, and you would be A. arrested, or B. Receive a ticket/fine in addition to the price of your gas. Probably A.

My dad had to leave his credit card then go get money and come back. Then he paid and left..but forgot the card so he had to goo all the way back again!

Standard petrol regulation states that you must proceed to have a gasoline chug-off with the highest ranking worker who is present at the gas station. You win, you can leave, you lose, they get your car.

When that happens at my parent's store we either ask them to call someone to come and pay or we call the cops and let them solve it.

Before, it use to be gas and then pay Now it's pay then gas.

Here in south western Ontario you fill up then go inside and pay. Unless its at the pump, I think. I never pay at the pump.
