Hey, I was wondering if some of these parts could run Maplestory, This isn't my Pc at all, just old parts I have, my brother was looking for his own Pc to play Ms on, and I thought this might do the trick, it would most likely have: Pentium 3 Processor (Oh well) Geforce Series 4 Mx440-8X 512Mb DDR RAM Windows XP SP2 The network adapter is running 100mbps I don't mean perfect, but you think he could pull a solid 25-40 FPS in lesser populated areas and play the game relatively comfortably?

yah, the video card isnt a huge deal because you dont need to render anything in maplestory. and your processer should beable to handle the load. it might get choppy in some places (fm mainly).

it might be able to run it but you're going to have to avoid populated areas. the min specs on the maplestory website requires 1.5 gigs (wtf, it was 1 gig just 2 days ago) check on the maplestory download site to check for yourself

Okay, yeah i just had this old rig left over in my closet, figured he'd be happy, I'll fix up the HDD and OS and get him going, he should be happy. I will be too tbh. It's fun to play together, he's the same age as me too, since we're stepbrothers. and good-point about the GFX I was just thinking Gaming lol.

It should work. If that GPU was like a 6xxx or 7xxx series integrated GPU MS would probably be unplayable on that system,, since they have trouble with MS for whatever reason, but that should work.

RAM might be a bit of a problem (i.e. laggy server) but it should be fine to run.

Thanks fellas, yeah I think I can pull 30 FPS out of it in lesser populated places (Ex. Ch6 Perion)
