Well, I finally got to level 70, and got the job advancement. My question is: Is there any point in shockwave? Should I keep shockwave at a minimal level, and max everything else? e.g. oak barrel, dash, etc, etc. Thanks.

Keep it for looks. Other than that, it's useless.

Max TF. Use SW points for OB/Dash. Max rest 3rd job skills.

TF=transform. SW=shockwave. Correct. But don't do dash.

Well...I would recommend maxing Shockwave, since you don't need any Dash or maxing Oak Barrel. (Dash is kinda a waste...and Oak Barrel is just for the lol's). And Energy Drain is efficient but it serves very few use during 4th job. Shockwave can help with killing fast mobs during 10x or so. Then after the Bubble is charged use Drain to recover the Hp you've losted during TF stage. So...max Shockwave, but max it during 9x or something.

If I max shockwave, I would miss out on some other 3rd job skills. The dragon move replaces shockwave, so I could wait about 20 levels, right? |

Shockwave is terrible. It's only good if it's on a flat map and hitting 6 monsters all the time.

Keep shock wave at lv 1 drain is a good way to heal up and will be a major skill for distance in 3rd job my drain is lv 1 and i can kill WR in 2 hits or so and i get hp back, shockwave is useless once you get to 4rth job since you dont have to be transformed for dragon strike
