I'm bored so I'm making this thread. Let's share about our very FIRST Maple Story experience. Here I go. I saw a friend playing MS one day, and it seemed interesting to me. He was a mage, so i decided to start playing and make a mage. Training was sooo hard in maple island. 20 into INT and some into luk. Damage range was around 1-4 (remember that?) And that one quest to get 10 or so orange mushroom caps just to get a Razor or a Fruit knife. It can take from 30 mins up to 1 or 2 hours. Now, 1-10 can be done in 5 mins, with no "stat requirements" anymore. After becoming a magician, i had no money for pots, barely enough for just the wand. I'd go to the slime tree and train on slimes. But i'd be taking 10-20 minute breaks between training just to let me heal mp. Ah...those were the days

[GMS] It was a rogue. I didn't know I needed DEX so I had to job advance at lvl 13. I trained with a Metal Axe. I thought Axe Stumps dropped Axes every time. I spent hours trying to find the Dark Lord; my friend told me he was in Fusion Bar Jazz but I was at lowest quality so I couldn't make out the letters. I thought INT would make me smarter and STR would make me throw stars farther. I thought DEX would make my stars home in on monsters. I thought LUK just helps me get lucky drops. [MSSEA] I made a warrior. I job advanced at 11, and I raised LUK so I could hit the Green Musroom which I thought was the godliest monster in all of maple (I mean, hey, even lvl 1XXs train there!). I finally was able to hit them at lvl 17. Then I got stuck in Sleepywood so I quit. [MSEA] I made a rogue named Takutanuva. I spent forever saving up for a bathrobe. Finally was able to get it at lvl 23 (I thought 10 speed was godly). I thought Pao was godly too >.> I thought I was godly when i could do 50/50 damage with L7. I thought I was rich when I NPC'd a Benis Chainmail (something like that). I spent hours trying to sell it for 500k before I NPC'd it though... My friend (IGN something like BabyKong, check him out he's awesome might have quit though since i play GMS now) gave me a set of Mokbis. He apparently had 5 Mastery so the set was 750 (or something like that). I found that I couldn't recharge it, I was like ****, so I decided to save the set of Mokbis for the 2nd job advancement! I calculated that the set of Mokbis would be JUST enough for me to get all the Marbles (my bro did the job advancement I thought he was so pro). I eventually figured that i could recharge it when it goes under 700...

I remember I used to put a bit of everything, a bit of INT, STR, LUK, and DEX, cus I thought it would make it "balanced"

I spent hours training to level 10. Found out I didn't have enough Dex. Raised my Dex to 25; Got my job adv at level 14. Got to level 15, deleted and started over.

I wanted to be a sin, but my friend taught me a dit build and I didn't know any better. He said being a dit would be better for me, but I started over. I made a sin to 41 or so, then quit for a sindit. Everyone asked if I was dexless because I wore the stuff, and I thought I looked cool lol. Then I made a sindit, then quit because I hated it. Then made it again and liked it this time, but I quit at 66 because I wanted a fresh start. Then I remade HyeBandit like 3 times because I couldn't decide on what I wanted to do, (by the way I quit xUchiha93x lol), and here I am now.

It was an archer. I saved up SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long to get 9k to buy the level 15 hat. One day I was training in HHG1 and this one thief. I decided to get a drink and my brother went on my account and dropped my level 15 archer hat. When I came back and noticed it was gone he said "The thief stole it". I believed him and I was afraid to ever go near a thief in Maple because I thought that they could actually "steal" items from your inventory. I got depressed and decided to make a Mage after that.

Well, me and my sister created a character and we didn't know how to put the stats in right so it got really messed up. xD Once the char hit Bandit, we found out while trying to look up guides.

a lvl 12 warrior and when I got to orbis I didnt know how to get back to the ship so i bought a VIP rock lol that was stupid.

i was a sin and my dads ex-girlfriend son told me to put 3dex 2luk. so at lv 20 i had like 90dex
