ugh, this is NOTHING like Algebra 1/ Geometry.<<< I want those classes now. Anyone have experience in Alg2/Trig? I'm already in chapter 1 and I already have trouble. My teacher is a nerd and doesn't explain why these things happen and just expect us to know what it is.... people try asking him, and he barks back that we should know this stuff. Bah, anyone know how to pay attention in class and listen and actually understand this sutff? Or know a site that helps? Cause I can't rely on my counsler changing my teacher, nor can I rely on the teacher, cause he think's we're all smart. Someone help T.T

Well idk if its important, but you can call +46118800, its a Swedish number which is free to call. Its kinda like a company owned by the government, that helps with everything. PS: They speak english.

marco1337 : maybe ch1 is suppose to be stuff u previously learned? math is a really easy subject and the more hw questions u do, the better u will get. You make it sound so easy. Thing is, you need to know HOW to do the question (That's what teachers are for) And yes I can learn it by myself, but I end up not understanding. I can't ask teachers either... -sigh-

Trignometry and Algebra are much easier than Calculus for me. I hate drawing shapes, labeling and crap like that -_- Anyways, if you post what you need help on, I might be of assistance

If you find yourself unconsciously dozing off in class, then do what I do. Purchase one of those "shock pens" for like a dollar, then whenever you feel even a hint of drowsiness, then shock yourself. But make it as slow and suspenseful as possible, so that when you actually shock yourself you can reach maximum alertness. If the subject itself is too hard for you, then I suggest either dropping out or getting private tutoring. If it helps, keep reminding yourself that math (or atleast the math you're taking) is simply a matter of applying memorized formulas and using basic mathematical operations when necessary.
