Yes. Although I'd try and get one with a 1.6 or 1.66GHz processor.

Yes, you can. It doesn't take much to run maple.

Ye, maple is easy. Atom processors are suprisngly pretty good, I found out on my netbook. That was with like a 1.66 or 1.6 GHZ atom one though. Maybe you could get a smaller screen, or less space, like 160 GB instead of 250 GB, and get a better processor.

Maple will probably be able to run on that netbook. Maybe try aim to get a 1.6Ghz/1.66Ghz Atom processor. It will probably make a difference when playing.

It doesn't let me customize it, but after looking around, its the best one that I can find. The processors are so-so but the RAM is definitely good for a netbook/the price. I may get this. BTW, will there be any newer/better netbooks by late january-ish that have good ram, a good processor and vista/windows 7

FusionSpirit : How much is the netbook? $350 EDIT: I found a good Dell laptop (not my favorite brand for laptops, but eh...) for $480. Its got 250 GB of HD space, 3 GB of RAM, an Intel Pentium 2.0GHz processor. Does that sound good?

Wow... 1.2Ghz. To be safe I would aim for a 1.6ghz, just to be able to function a little better. Ram and such is pretty alright.

Oooh...I found a laptop that I MAY get...It's an HP (I love HPs) with an AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor. Are they good? The specs: Processor: AMD Turion X2 Processor Speed: 2.2GHz System Memory (RAM): 3GB Hard Drive Size: 320GB Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8200M Graphics (is that good?)

AMD Turion is garbage IMO the 8200M is intergrated also but since this is just for maple its fine
