Anybody recently hacked without explanation?

So, recently, I've seen some threads on Basil Market of people who've been recently hacked without explanation. I am one of these victims, as well. *NOTE- This is NOT a thread begging for Mesarz. As far as I know, I haven't told anybody my account information, since this was a new account. There's been no "adult" activity on this computer... (sigh you immature people LOL), and as far as I know, I haven't visited any suspicious maplestory websites, nor downloaded anything maple related besides the actual game client... This thread, is for the people who have been hacked to post, so we can solve this mystery -_- I thought it could be some sort of glitch in the beginning, since in the past, a lot of money has disappeared from my previous account, but items were untouched. However, I check my MTS, only to find all of my nx was gone. All of it was used by the hacker to buy a red snail shell to transfer my nx to his account. So yeah, if something like this has happened to you, and you have no idea why, post here D:

I didn't see where you said you'd scanned your computer for trojans or the dreaded keyloggers... why not..?

Did you try to get the crazy multi client that was posted a few days ago?There was a keylogger contained in it, that was probably why.

Well. I'm currently scanning with McAfee... So far nothing after several thousand items scanned... Is AVG recommended?

For things like spyware and keyloggers I'd recommend trying "Malwarebytes". It's known to find and remove the kinds of things that can do what you've described. I personally use "Spybot Search and Destroy". You really need BOTH an Anti-Virus scanner (which is what McAfee is), AND an "Anti-Spyware scanner" because they're really two different types of threats. Each type of scanner is optimized to find the things it's designed for, and if it comes up with anything else, so much the better, but it's best to use BOTH to be sure you get everything. Only use one Anti-Virus, but use it along with an Anti-Spyware.

Well, McAfee found nothing, after a long scan, so I'm just going to assume it was someone I know irl, since I used to use the same pw and pin for all my accounts and they could have easily seen my id :P

Yeah, I got hacked like this as well, all of my items and mesos were gone. Even untradeable, undroppable items. Even my NX had disappeared, this wasn't the work of a human hacker. It had to be a game glitch or some pissed of Nexon employee.

i keep getting hacked for mesos, but, they only take half my mesos, and leave the rest...
