To feel heartbroken but

A friend of mine, who I have liked for quite some time now, around a year or so has just told me who he likes. He said that she's some girl in the grade above us, in a different school (thank god for that). I really don't know how I feel. Sometimes I feel uneasy and just feel like sitting down to think about it. Other times I feel kind of happy for them because they've been together for.. 3months? I think it's puppy love, in fact I'm quite sure of it, but I feel really.. uncomfortable whenever I see him. I haven't told him I like him or anything though. When he told me about the girl though, he did ask me for advice and well, I wasn't sure what to say. What would you guys say, and possibly do? I don't know why I'm posting this, I guess i just want some advice.

eh,i know how that feels =/ Trust me,talk to him about it. When you tell him you like him,it may get awkward. But,maybe! something good will come out of it. Personally,the worst thing is to hide your feelings,especially when you like a close friend. Some may say,remain friends it's better,but don't,talk to him!

When he tells me about the girl, it seems as though he really likes her. Maybe even love. I don't see how telling him would help

Wow me and my friend are kinda having the same problem O:. We should make a club, a heartbroken girls club . Anyway, since you're a friend, do what a friend does: support him, be there for him, etc.. I know it hurts to see the person you like liking another girl :. And for some reason, I have something against guys dating older guys, idk why but i'm not gonna do or say anything about it :x. koggles : Thanks ;x Although whenever I'm near him, I have the feeling that he feels the same towards me. I don't know if that's just puppy love but.. yeah. that happens, it's only natural. The thing is, communication, as cliche as it may be, is important, so never talking to him about it jus puts a strain on your relationship with him, whatever that may be. It may hurt even more to get totally shot down, but at least talking to him about your feelings if going get rid of any doubt. Jus try not to dwell on "what if" 's.
