GMS Scheduled Maintenance

MapleStory will be going through a scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009. This one involves all game servers, and will last for approximately 8 hours. Times BT: September 3, 00:00 - 08:00 PDT: September 2, 10:00 pm - 06:00 am GMT: September 3, 05:00 am - 01:00 pm Note : The website login function will be unavailable during the maintenance from 2:00 am ~ 3:00 am PDT. Fixes The following will be updated: Monster Carnival 2 Fix: Players will now be able to enter an available room with a party that does not contain the original party creator. New Cash Items: there will be new items along with a limit time package! Happy Basiling!

this is lame, everytime we Australian players come home from school theres a server maintenance specifically when we can possibly play. right now it's 3pm (still at school/ just after school) - 11pm (sleep?) wtf, i think nexon hates all of Australia.

Umm, no. Unfortunately, America has A LOT more players then we do. Possibly 10x more. So they wouldn't really pay attention to us when they're getting 90% of their income from America. And it IS called gMS which is actually meant for North America nowadays so they would do the maintenance at times that benefit THEM.

Although the times seem to have been adpated to Europe a little. The check will be over here when kids have come home from school already and 2X EXP events are normally held between 10PM-midnight... which means they can play for at least a little. (I remember how they were held from 8-10, but that didn't benefit the US players) Curious. Meh, two more hours Off to clean my room.
