Have you ever dyed your hair before?

What's it like? I was kinda hoping to get my hair dyed all blue just to see how people respond. But I heard it kinda makes your scalp dry, and when your roots start coming through, your natural hair color will uglify the *crap* out of it.

I kinda wanted to dye my hair blue too, but im too lazy. >.> I dyed my hair red b4 but it barely showed.... When iw as younger like.. 6-10 i dyed my hair golden/blonde/yellow. It was cool lol i spiked it up too xD

Lol, I actually dyed all of my hair blue this summer. A lot of my friends liked it. None of that stuff is happening to me... O_o

I have a hot pink strip in my hair. (: But if your hairs dark like mine, you'll have to bleach it first. And bleach messes up your hair sorta, and burns if you get it on your scalp and the color you put on after the bleach wont stay in as long as people with lighter hair. Only bad thing is your hair feels really dry after your done dying it and redying it gets annoying when the color fades. :/ And blue will most likely fade to a different color after a whilee. At the ends of my hot pink strip its like white now from it fading. ):

I have dyed my hair many times and my scalp isn't dry. If you want to dye your hair blue, you'll probably have to get your hair lightened first if you have a dark natural color or else it wouldn't really show unless you want like a tint of blue to your natural color. Most unnatural hair color dyes are deposit only like Manic Panic, Special Effects, Color Fiend, etc. so it would probably fade or wash out in a couple of months or so.

In like grade 5 I dyed all my hair pink(false labels!),then green, and lastly blue.

when u bleach your hair your literally burning your hair, your killing the pigments in your hair its okay every once in a while but dont leave it in for too long or your hair can actually snap off cause its so damaged
