Trolling/Cyber bullying is against our CoC now.

New rule added this year. Trolling/Cyber bullying is now considered a class III Offense in our Code of Conduct >_> I love my school administration.

FirePengy : How does one troll irl? FB, myspace, blogs, and the like are just extensions of tangible ideas from the real world in cyberspace. It's not hard to "Accidentally" tip someone off to a site that has a lot of abusive comments made about a specific person in an attempt to victimize them. Sorry if it seems like I'm being way too serious for the topic, but there are people with self-esteem issues that are easily influenced by this style of personal attack. When they see that nothing can be done, bad things happen. Small negative statements online can have ghastly consequences in real life. Suicide is one such result, and it's one of the leading causes of death in teens. Boo. e: Btw, how are you, Seal?

I thought it would be like a max of 1 month suspension. Heck, people bash, steal and tease others at our school, and the most they get is a suspension. Do you go to a private or public school?

Is the statement you love your school administration because they're targeting cyber bullying sarcastic? So you don't like them because they're trying to stop bullying? I don't understand how it's okay, better or any different to bully someone from school (because you know them from school, only see them at school, and would probably only meet them ever at school) over the internet. That's like saying it's okay to get someone's phone number who you don't like at school and bully/harass them.

I don't think the school understands how shallow trolling can be. Trolling to me would be like posting a rickroll or something stupid. Their definition of trolling is just another word for cyber bullying.
