Why does nobody make thunder breakers/wind archers?

idk if it's like this for other servers, but on bera there are virtually none. what is up with that? thunder breakers are fun, and wind archers look like they are too. not to mention WA's do reaaaaally nice damage from what i've seen.

Well, in my opinion, Wind Archers don't get fun until 3rd job because, until then, you only have 2 attacks and a sea of buffs. Also in my opinion, people see CKs as a chance to try a new class conveniently, and the pirate patch wasn't too long ago, so everyone made pirates then and have since moved onto trying something else since then. Note that this is all speculation with no actual fact, just opinion.

Lol I don't know why I don't see many, all I know is that Wind Archers are the funnest class to play since I know I'm not making it to 4th job anyways =P Wind Archer pride!

It's sort of difficult to explain. Heroes and Night Lords generally max Brandish/Advanced Combo and Triple Throw/Venom first respectively. (Not so sure about the Archmages though) Since they get those skills in Cygnus Knights, they're generally more popular because they'll deal a lot of damage. Bowmasters and Buccs would normally max Sharp Eyes/Hurricane and Barrage/Dragon Strike/ Maybe some other skill? first but they only receive one of the two skills in their Cygnus class. Plus they're still more helpful in parties as it is seeing as they receive party skills. (Except for WindArcher and ThunderBreaker) Personally I'm making either a ThunderBreaker or a BlazeWizard because I've never played with Knuckles/Staffs or Wands

I've seen a lot of Wind Archer, including me. Quite a few Thunder Breakers too.

idn about u but WA dmg is GODLIKE with some beautiful equips wind shot can do 60k per second (3 arrows hovering at around 15-20k dmg with critical) plus wind walk adds another 30% to their dmg. as for wind piercing (i still refer to it as magnum shot....) is an obnoxious amount of dmg... shame it only goes in a straight line then of course hurricane is well.... hurricane XD

Are you kidding there's a lot more wind archers then DW from what ive seen. especially at LPQ, maybe thats just the case there.

Well what i've been seeing is that buccs and other pirates seem to really hate on Tbs. Since so much people tried brawler (not much continued slingers), Tbs are going to be the less popular. Wind archers FTW :D

Im currently working on a TB, and I really don't know why no one wants to make them... They train fast as they are good mobbers, and yeah they miss out on dragon strike, but once you hit 120, you dont need to train, then only bossing is concerned. I can see WA since SE is so vital, but really, TB can become very overpowered very fast. My range at 120 will be better than a lot of lvl 140+ buccs in the damage range thread. Also TB do get Wind booster which is nice.

Yea... there are only 350 wind archers higher lv than me (88) atm... And i see so much NW although they are insanely weak compared to their parent. I dont understand the lack of thunder breakers. Speed infusion mule is nice to have.
