NOT TO START A FLAME WAR, I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW THEISTS ANSWER THIS QUESTION! You say God has existed always, as in for as many trillions and billions of years before the universe was created as you can count to, right? If this is true, then what the hell did he do BEFORE he made the universe? -Screw around with other life? -Make and destroy things at will? -What? Seriously, if he has always been, he must have had infinite time before creating the universe, and what did he do during all that time? Thanks. -Sam. P.s. I am atheist.

It doesn't say that to God, a day is 1000 years. "With the Lord" refers to human beings being with God. The phrase after is a simile referring to joy. Omnipotence is having all power. Power to do anything. Not really subjective. You are saying that evolution and abiogenesis disproves creation. The idea of creation is that God created the universe. Scientifically speaking, evolution and abiogenesis cannot exist with creation. However, with God in this dilemma, it can. Therefore, it is possible to have creation and evolution/abiogenesis coexist because of an omnipotent being. The simile is saying that with God, a day of happiness is a thousand years of happiness, and a thousand years of happiness is only one day of happiness.

Some migrated north, grew thicker fur over time, etc. and some migrated south, and... didn't. I don't have the specifics, but that's a basic example. Now imagine that, but instead of fur, it accounted for intelligence, dexterity, etc.

Most do not say, "Romeo killed Juliet. Juliet gave birth to zombies." The idea of joy is implied in the simile, it is not literal, as I have posted several times. Give me one example of "bending" words.
