Alright, so I'm getting closer to attaining 3rd job on my Blaze Wizard. With only 10 levels away, I have to make this decision immediately. So far, I have the following skills: - Fire Pillar [maxed] - Elemental Reset [maxed] - Teleport [maxed] - Meditation [maxed] - Spell Booster [11] Currently, I'm level 60 and I'm planning on using the next 3 levels to max out Spell Booster, which only leaves 2 skills left: Fire Arrow and Slow. I have read the Blaze Wizard Guide itself, and it recommends Slow, as opposed to Fire Arrow. However, I would like the opinion of more people before I finally make a decision. Slow is useful for the fact that when maxed, can greatly slow down the pace of a mob of monsters. However, Fire Arrow will replace Magic Claw as a primary attacking skill, but will be replaced again in 3rd job. People have also commented on the new animation of Fire Arrow being more appealing than the previous one, causing people to choose Fire Arrow over Slow. I would like to know more pros and cons of each skill, as it will help me reach my decision. Thank you very much. =]

I reccomend you to max out slow instead of fire arrow, because when you get lv1 fire strike, it easily out powers magic claw and fire arrow :X Slow is also really helpful when your misting. (slow, mist, and run!) it's also great for all bosses :D slow also helped me during the fight with black witch ( you fight her at lv120 ) ._.

Slow, slows down things that are charging at you. What is this, 1 vs 1 Fire Arrow? You're a mobber and you can tele away as well. To me, Fire Arrow gets replaced and it reminds me of Holy Arrow and Clerics will tell you to not max it anyway.

Definitely Slow. Will be much more useful now and in the future.

i chose fire arrow because on a normal f/p mage, thats what most people do but then I found out slow+gears=pwnage -.- so too bad for me :[

Like everyone else is saying, Slow is much more useful. Fire Arrow becomes obsolete once you get Fire Strike, which hits up to six monsters in a straight line, as opposed to Fire Arrow's one. Which also means, you can slow a ton of monsters, then Fire Curtain them. Then come back later and Fire Strike or Fire Pillar (depending on how you and/or they are positioned) them to kill them off. Furthermore, you'll never use Fire Arrow past 70, whereas you can slow all the way up to 120. :D

Flame Arrow Pros: -Does more single-target damage than Magic Claw -Looks pretty Cons: -Replaced in 3rd job -Doesn't outdamage Magic Claw by enough to warrant maxing (won't outdamage Claw until almost maxed) -Does not travel well up hills or through walls like Claw does (if follows same properties as F/P Fire Arrow) -Loses out on Slow... Slow Pros: -Never replaced -Partly immobilizes enemies (good for evasion) -Works well with 3rd job skill Fire Curtain/Gear (the longer they stay in the effect, the more damage they get) -Works on bosses (really helps against flying bosses, especially Geist Balrog) Cons: -Slightly less single-target damage (not an issue since you'll want to train by mobbing... and you still have Magic Claw) -Don't get to use Flame Arrow (unless you have 1 point into it for show) Seriously, Slow is the more beneficial skill.

slow is more useful.. But who uses it nowadays anyways? i rather burn them out then having to use slow everytime i grind against a mob or maybe not even a mob at all. Mages have teleport so why do u even need to slow..

I maxed out fire arrow, for dmg purposes (7k dmg is pretty awesome). Slow didn't have any appeal to me...didn't seem that useful too.
