Question To Atheists

You say what created god. I'm just wondering what created the original mass that exploded known as the big bang which is the most accepted theory by atheists regarding the creation of the universe. Religious people say god was always there and nothing created him, but I was just curious to what an atheists response would be to that question considering its the same accusation they use against religious people. Keep in mind I'm not very religious myself, just curious. No flames, just wondering how you, as an atheist, would respond to that. Thank you. Away atm...will read replys later

WinterWish : I believe a god did something to cause the big bang. but that was it. everything after that is explained by science. I believe the same way. Also for religious reason such as: In my religion it talks about the big bang, another name for our god is "The evolver" roughly translated, and through many other scientific explanations. I believe god created the first original mass, and from there the world just did its thing.

thecitadel : Steven Hawking has said that the big bang was the result of a singularity "exploding", hence the term Big Bang. A singularity (according to Einstein's theories on space being like a fabric) is like a black hole, but even deeper so even the Hawking Radiation (positive particles) can not escape. Where did the singularity come from?

Crusadedd : Let's just go with this. lol man the big bang wasn't an explosion it was an expansion which went against the theory of special relativity excelling the speed of light for an instant, most laws were combined into one super law when it was in a singularity state

no one actually knows what exsisted before the big bang, or what caused it, simply because as we look back into the many layers of space time, when we reach the point of conception of the universe, the laws of general relativity break down, leaving us no way to explain what happened at this very moment. This point is referred to as the "big bang singularity", we have no way of knowing what happened at this time OR anything before it. Silly huh, you would think that this is one of the most important questions for humankind to answer, but it probably never will be.

daStrike : An afterlife of what? Eat, sleep, work, chill? Heaven sounds much better than life on earth. On earth I'm depressed, unloved, uncared for, tired, overworked, etc. Atleast I'm guaranteed happyness there, or so I hope @Above, to be honest, you could trace the big bang to have been created by god. By you can't trace back to what god was created by. If everything does have a creation, then you still havent responded to my initial question. Edit: Breakfast, brb

I only use the 'where did god come from' in very few kinds of situations; if the theist starts with the Watchmaker argument, and it's go something like--everything complex must have a creator because they can't just pop into existence. This can be refuted with said statement because they would have to commit a special pleading fallacy in the argument if they say god doesn't need a creator for himself. Also they seem to think they know when they don't, but I don't claim to know just respond to claims.
