Recovering Characters?

I haven't played for 3 years on my old account, and as such my characters are gone when I look through the servers after signing in on maplestory... There still on the leader boards though so I assume theres some way to recover them, or are they boned?

I highly doubt they delete inactives after 3 months because there are TONS of people on rankings that have been on for years and haven't been touched. Also if that were true, some original IGN's would be reset

Yesterday I logged in on maple on my account which I haven't used for over 7months. Everything was still there... even my 22 warrior which has 3 max hp increase. xD

... Well My character SupaScott (the only one whose I remember his IGN) is still on the rankings, but when I log in he's not in Windia. Or anywhere for that matter. =/

A couple of my accounts got unbanned, but all of the characters were deleted off them? I can't search them on the rankings either.

i never had any trouble when i came back finding me characters, honestly. you would think that nexon would try to do that at at least every european still playing MS :P you might have been hacked.

My character, "Thingy" is still on rankings back from Maple BETA. Can't believe I forgot my info to it, skills and stats were stuffed up bad and it had nothing valuable on it (except Mark of the Beta) but it was an original name. =[

i started playing maple in june after a break of 2 years, and all my chars were still there.
