| GOD DAM IT DISNEY! NOW U HAVE GONE TOO FAR! disney has bought the rights to marvel for $4 billion. i have just lost all respect for marvel. The once badass comic book company which published greats such as spider man and x men is now a sell out company. I can only imagine what is going to happen, Spiderman meets Hannah Montana? Wolverine meets the Jonas Brothers? My childhood memories have just died. Whats next for disney? buying the government? president mickey mouse? Just because Disney owns the rights doesn't mean they're going to merge the characters or corrupt your beloved childhood memories of Marvel. And really, Disney is NOT THAT BAD, hating on them seems to be a huge fad, yet so many people still love the movies they churn out (at least in association with Pixar). Finally, I'd say it's best to wait and see what happens before you go running around screaming "The sky is falling!" |

And really, I don't get why people are so wrapped up in hate on how tv stations are changing. As we all get older, the material on the stations is going to change to suit their target audience, which isn't necessarily going to be us. Complain all you want, but that's how it goes. Protip : Taking off your nostalgia goggles is also a good idea. It eliminates comparison that is often biased in favor of the past because "everything was better before X year." |
