| Hey y' all. I know I will most likely be boring y'all with this story I'm about to tell, but for those who are interested, it's a good read. It's something that happened to me, that changed my life around, and there is a message in it for you all. Over 2 years ago, I met a girl on Maplestory. We talked and became friends. Before I knew it, I was talking to her every day, and it felt like I could entrust her with anything. Shortly after, we decided to get married on MS. To be honest, back then, I didn;t think of it as anything serious. Shortly after that, we exchanged MSN and adresses. She lived in the States, and I lived in Holland (Europe). We started talking more and more, and I could feel a strong connection growing between us. Then we decided to Skype with eachother. I fell in love with her voice, and to me, she was the custest girl I'd ever seen. We became boyfriend and girlfriend, and even tho the distance was a real pain, and sometimes could really tick me off and depress me, for not being able to hold her or take her out like a real boyfriend, we managed to stay like that for close to 2 years. Even her mom was totally into it, she was glad she found some1 like me, but she knew long distance relationships hurt. The connection only grew stronger with time, and I really started dreading the distance between us. I sent her gifts thru mail, and she did the same. At some point, I decided I had to take my move. We had a good long chat, and I bought a plane ticket to the States. Everything was arranged. Her mom allowed me to move in with them for 2 months (I'm there as we speak) so I came here to visit her. When I saw her it was like love at first sight. We knew eachother so well, that we were pretty serious in our relationship from the start. I'm still here, in the States, and I am having the best time of my life. I feel as if I have found my other half, and I feel complete. I found the love I wanted. What I am trying to say with this is, that a lot of people make fun of online relationships a lot. And to be honest, I can understand part of that. But me myself, I've experienced first hand that it IS possible to fall in love over the internet. You can find love close to anywhere, even MS. You can make fun of it and such, but you know, some day, something like this might happen to you. And when it does, I hope it'll be a lifechanging story like mine. Thanks for your time reading it. |
