Maplestory wont run at college

So I'm at a college right now, and I tried booting up maplestory and everytime it finishes the hack guard thing it comes up with the pop up saying to check the maple story website or my firewall or whatever. Maple story runs fine at my house and other places, could it be that the internet connection at this college wont allow that program to connect through their network?

mmm I'm a straight A student and its the start of the semester so I've already finished all the work for like the next week cause i've got easy classes. I just want a way to kill my time while here on my 2 hour long break oh and jewcake88 i have a girlfriend already so yea... xD

It's propably just blocking specific IP's or downloads. What college would want geeks playing games like WoW on their network 24/7.

Some colleges have firewalls on their campus that block gameplay. Try another online game and see if it gets blocked.

all good here, but I live in an apartment :P try using http://www.hotspotshield.com/ could work depending on the type of network they are using ;)
