Monster Book Questions

I want a completely monster book but I am going to need to make sure not to level to high before getting certain cards. For example, I cannot level past 30 until I have all of my King Slime cards and I cannot level past 50 until I have all of my Alishar cards. Can anyone give me a list of the cards that I need to collect before reaching a certain level and what those levels are? Thank you very much if you can. Also, is there a higher card drop rate for bosses like King Slime and Alishar that you cannot fight very many of? It can take months to fill up a single monster but these? It seems like it would not be possible.

I'd suggest to wait till next Monster card event and buy those cards.

I got one Alishar card. It was very lucky....the only card i have 5 of is Roids.

Good luck to you filling your book. Boss monstercards seem to be very rare. But i have a feeling that tenk(?) in lith harbour may start to sell them again soon. If i was you i would be happy with just one of each for the bosses. Maybe they will release cards in the dojo that woulg help.

They used to sell the cards? How? For how much?

They would sell/trade the cards for maple leaves. The higher the boss the more costly the card.

Well, the list of monster you'd need to stay below a certain lvl at would be: -papa pixie -alishar -king slime -frankenroid -ppq boss (w/e his name was)

King Slime, - 30 Alishar - 50 Poison Golem - 55 Papa Pixie - 70 Frankenroid - 85 Lord Pirate - 100 Currently those are the only ones. I've seen 2 Alishar cards drop in 70 PQs, looted one (it REALLY helps if you're a melee character). I wanted to do the same thing as you on my brawler, but I got sick of dying at 30. The drops are pretty rare. I think we got lucky with Alishar. Only other boss card I've seen drop is Faust when I was doing his quest. Edit: Oh yeah, forgot about EPQ.

You'd need to do all the pq's, although I highly doubt you'll get all the cards without killing yourself then. You'd need to get King Slime before level 31. Alishar before level 51. Papa Pixie before level 71. Frankenroid before level 86. Lord Captain / Angry / Enraged Captain before level 101. I'm not sure if there is a boss for Ellin pq, so you'd need to look into that. If you try to do this, I don't think you'll even get 5 alishar cards from levels 35. I pqed from levels 43~51 for the glasses and only saw one card drop.

TYVM all of you. Unfortunately I am a cleric so it will be even harder. Does anyone know when will be the next oppurtunity to buy cards and what the prices were (for these cards) last time?

It might be next maple event, it might be sooner. (since you're a cleric, just try sticking close to the boss, watch for the death animation, and be ready to make use of teleport if necessary) Prices started in the hundreds (of maple leaves) and went up into the thousands, depending on the level of the boss.
