theres no evidence either way, but judging by the fact that kms got it like 8 months ago (think it was 8... no one flame me for that), and they still have it, it looks as if it will be perminent

yes it is forever. if it was just an event, there would be a start/ end date on the posts such as: http://maplestory.nexon.net/WZ.ASPX?PART=/Event/View&boardNo=201&contentNo=005b6 and this: http://maplestory.nexon.net/WZ.ASPX?PART=/Event/View&boardNo=203&contentNo=005aq has no start/ end dates on it.
