Question about Dojo belts

Hey, I don't know if this has been asked before or not, but when you get a belt, do you lose those points? Like if I had 1200 points and I got a white belt, would my points be lowered to 1000? Or does it not effect the points that way and you basically earn the belt through points rather than exchange points for belts?

The only way your points will lower is if you reset them.

You keep the points. But you have to get them consecutively, so you can't just save up for black, you have to get white, yellow, etc. You can't get more then one type of belt on each character however, once you get a white belt, you will no longer be able to get a white belt, as with all other belts.
